Ten Italian projects are among the 80 finalists of the Innovation in Politics Award, the European award that aims at recognizing innovative political activity which improves the lives of citizens in concrete terms. This initiative is promoted by the homonymous private institute based in Vienna, of which Noesis is the referent in Italy, and it intends to bring to light and support those politicians who have the courage to take new paths to improve the lives of citizens, regardless of the party they belong to or of the institutional level they operate in.
Italy asserts itself as the cradle of creative ideas with the projects of the municipalities of Milan, Turin, Parma, Livorno, Palermo, Ferla, Latronico, Chieuti and Serracapriola being chosen by a European jury of 1,053 citizens among over 600 candidates.
The projects are competing in 8 categories: Civilization, Community, Democracy, Human Rights, Ecology, Work, Prosperity, Quality of Life. The best of them will be awarded in Vienna on November 17, 2018.
Good luck to Italian projects in particular, but also to all other finalists!
